The Lapoche Lineup: March 2024

Say hello to the inaugural edition of the Lapoche Lineup - a monthly curation of some of our team's favourite things.
Whether you're looking for a new travel hotspot or even a new recipe to try, here are some things we’ve been loving at Lapoche.

Nonna’s Grocer Candles

As an esteemed team of candle-lovers, our standards are pretty high when it comes to our choice of burn and this month, there’s been no greater obsession than the Nonna’s Grocer’s food-centric candles. Designed for dinner parties and somewhat surreal decor, these are an excellent addition to any dinner party or aesthetic table-scape.

Pair With: A stack of organic heirloom tomatoes housed in your Lapoche Shop Produce Bags.

Rififi: Jean Jullien For Kids

Melbourne’s NGV is a hub of parent-friendly after-school entertainment, with their latest exhibition being no exception. French Illustrator Jean Julian has transformed the children's gallery into a fantastical under-the-sea scape, with hands-on activities and sustainable messaging. Equally playful, equally entertaining and most importantly educating, this exhibition runs until April 14th.

Pair With: Fun & Games Backpack - to keep all your colouring secure.

Murrumbateman, NSW

With the long weekend hot on our heels, we recommend making your way out of the metropolitan and into the regional - enter the small but mighty Murrumbateman. Spend afternoons in the cellar door of local heroes Shaws, Eden Road or Clonikkila or enjoy a luxurious long lunch at wedding-favourite Poachers Pantry, with the town’s signature sweeping valleys and technicolour skies always in the peripheral.

Pair With: Our Shoe Bags to protect your footwear through gravelled roads.

Big Swiss, Jen Beagin

As Australia rode out an unexpected heatwave, we’ve enjoyed nothing more this summer than hiding out by the beach with a good read. Our most recent top pick? Big Swiss by Jen Beagin. Entailing the relationship between a therapist’s troubled transcriptionist and their unsuspecting client, Big Swiss is funny, smart and the kind of page-turner you can dedicate a warm weekend to. As the season shifts to a cooler speed, look forward to the upcoming mini-series, starring Jodie Comer.

Pair with: A Lapoche Mini Cooler Bag filled with your favourite beverage.
